The Course Outline
Culture is a
deep topic.
In this series, we'll take a deep look inside your own culture, cultures around the world, and what it means to be a global citizen. We will learn about how we can move forward with experiencing culture in a socially distant world. Currently, the course consists of activities to be completed at your own pace.
Stay tuned...there will be new opportunities to connect virtually with other participants and international friends in 2021.

Online Modules
There are currently 5 modules exploring global citizenship, your own culture, and various cultures around the world to Japan, Mexico, and Norway. More countries will be added in 2021. Modules include additional activities, engaging projects to share, and information to learn about global citizenship and culture. These additional resources can be done at home, making these modules fun for the whole family!! We are so excited to have you join us for cultural expansion and learning.
Zoom Meetings
In the summer of 2020, we had weekly Zoom meetings to offer a place to connect with other learners and participants. Youth were able to ask questions, share their projects, and dive deeper into each topic. Three of these Zoom meetings were co-hosted with a representative from each country - Japan, Mexico, and Norway. On the final Zoom, we enjoyed a final course wrap up. But don't worry, we are looking forward to launching a new set of country modules and series of Zooms in 2021. We are so excited to connect with you during your course experience!
