The Course

Welcome to the Wisconsin 4-H International Global Citizenship Series! We are so glad you are here to grow in your culture and beyond. This is an interactive online opportunity to learn about global citizenship, your own culture, and cultures around the world. The modules are designed to be taken one week at a time, but you are free to explore them at your own pace.

On this website you can find educational content ranging from exploring global citizenship and your OWN culture to learning about different cultures and countries around the world. There are activities and projects to do at home as well! New countries will continue to be added in 2021.

Week 1: Global Citizenship

What is Global Citizenship and what does it mean to be a Global Citizen?

There are many ways to be a global citizen! Let's dive into the meaning of global citizenship and think about ways you can engage.

Week 2: My Cultural Exploration

What is culture? What does culture mean? What is MY culture?

In this module, we will dive deep into all things about culture! We will learn about what culture is, what your own culture looks like, and how to share it with others. 

Weeks 3, 4 & 5: Travel Around to New Cultures

​

Country modules about Norway, Japan, and Mexico!

Now that we've learned about own culture, what about all the others out there? In these three modules, you are able to travel around the world to learn about cultures in Norway, Japan, and Mexico. Stay tuned for more countries to be added in 2021!
